Saipullah Nasution is the Founder and Managing Partner of NLHP. Saipullah Nasution is a retired bureaucrat who has been placed and experienced various regions and positions in the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance for more than 30 years.

Saipullah Nasution’s Position History:

  • 2021: Director of Appeals and Regulations of the Directorate General of Customs of the Ministry of Finance
  • 2017 to 2021 : Head of West Java Regional Office Directorate General of Customs Ministry of Finance
  • 2016 to 2017 : Head of West Kalimantan Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs of the Ministry of Finance.

In recent years, Saipullah Nasution has begun to engage in politics and has joined the Golkar Party. Then Saipullah Nasution was elected as Regent of Mandailing Natal in North Sumatra for the period 2025 to 2030.

Saipullah Nasution’s advocacy skills are not in doubt because he has an academic background, placement, and experience in the legal field. Saipullah Nasution has obtained an Advocate License from the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and a Legal Attorney Permit for Customs and Excise from the Tax Court.

In 2024, Saipullah Nasution handled KPN Corp, a leading palm oil company in Indonesia, in a Customs dispute that proceeded both at the Tax Court Appeal level and the Supreme Court Review level.

KPN Corp is a holding company and is headquartered in Jakarta. KPN Corp has several businesses, including: oil palm plantations, palm oil processing, cement, property, and hospitals. KPN Corp’s business activities are spread throughout Indonesia and even to several countries in Asia.
